Membership to Forum

Hi Sea Bees and friends,

Due to the number of spam/scam/hoax memberships, I have disabled automated membership activation until I find an alternative solution.
So, if you know aomeone who want sto join, they can go through the sign up process and I will activate the membership as soon as I receive the email from the forum board. (Usually straight away)

I hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone, but it is for the protection of members.
The last spammer (joined yesterday) had a link in his post which could have been to a malicious site. It wasn't a threat, as far as I could tell, but could well have been. So please don't click links in posts unless you trust the person who put it there.
